# 2.5 - Equipment, Weaponry, and Extras

> Minimum equipment requirements for sworn DPS personnel while on duty.

All sworn personnel must carry the following minimum equipment while on duty:

* Glock 17 or Glock 19 *(off-duty carry permitted only with department authorization/documentation)*
* Taser ×1 *(on-duty only)*
* Expandable Baton ×1 *(on-duty only)*
* Handcuffs ×3 *(on-duty only)*
* Flashlight ×1 *(on-duty only)*
* Police Armor ×1
* IFAK ×5
* Bandages ×5

Additional required equipment may be mandated by assignment, certification, or supervisor directive.
