# 6.2.3 – Restrictions & Prohibited Actions

> Medical-response actions prohibited for law enforcement personnel.

Officers shall not:

* Transport injured persons while SAMS is on duty *(unless directed by SAMS)*
* Perform water rescues in depths greater than **Vespucci Canals**
* Move or reposition a downed individual without SAMS clearance *(unless immediate danger exists)*
* Provide advanced medical care beyond certification/training
