## Starting a Training Shift

* [ ] Verify the cadet's phase, trainer assignment, and authorized vehicle.
* [ ] Review prior evaluations and incomplete competencies.
* [ ] Establish shift objectives and the assigned evaluator.
* [ ] Confirm communications, uniform, and duty readiness.

## Ending a Training Shift

* [ ] Record observed activities and specific instructor comments.
* [ ] Identify passing milestones and unresolved deficiencies.
* [ ] Review and correct trainee incident reports as required.
* [ ] Submit the tracking entries and notify the next trainer of the trainee's status.
* [ ] Escalate any serious safety or integrity matter promptly.

## Administrative Control

The working spreadsheets store **current progress and evidence of completion**. The website defines the program and expectations. Where they disagree, notify the FTS/FTD and reconcile the mismatch; do not silently alter the cadet's record to match an outdated page.
