As a First Responder, you can resuscitate patients on the scene if they drown. You are to bring them to a flat surface and check for a pulse 3 times before bringing them back up. The scene should last a MINIMUM of 30 seconds.
If a subject forgets to eat or drink, you can also bring them back on the scene. This also needs a minimum of 30 seconds and an IV injection of liquids to bring you back. You can also use smelling salts to shock them into awakening again.
If a patient has any open wounds when you arrive on scene make sure to treat them with what you have available. As you are most likely not at a hospital you cannot stitch the wound closed if it is opened. In this situation stop any bleeding, clean the wound, and wrap it for the transport back if necessary.
