Code of Ethics for Medics

As an Emergency Medical Responder, I recognize that I have been entrusted with the health, safety, and well-being of the public by the Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety and the citizens of San Andreas. This trust is sacred and demands that I conduct myself with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and compassion. In fulfilling this responsibility, I shall adhere to the following principles:

National Registry Principles & Professional Conduct

  1. I shall comply with all policies, standards, and procedures of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, including their Terms of Use and Code of Professional Conduct.
  2. I shall provide truthful, accurate, and current information to the National Registry in all certifications, renewals, or professional communications.
  3. I shall provide verifiable documentation for all required training, education, and certifications.
  4. I shall accurately represent my certification level and status to the public, peers, and colleagues.
  5. I shall not falsify, tamper with, or remove any examination or certification materials.
  6. I shall always be in compliance with state and local licensure requirements for EMS practice.
