This section establishes radio communication standards for personnel operating under the San Andreas Department of Public Safety (DPS), including LSPD and SAST. Clear, disciplined communication supports officer safety, operational coordination, and efficient use of shared channels.
  • 4.1 — Radio Communication & Conduct: Routine transmissions and professional radio use.
  • 4.2 — Priority & Emergency Traffic: Interruptions, life-safety transmissions, and returning channels to normal operations.
  • 4.3 — Channel Assignments & Control: Authorized frequencies, channel changes, and congestion exceptions.
Radio procedures do not replace a scene commander’s responsibility to direct the incident under applicable DPS operational policies.
