Officers shall not:
  • Transport injured persons while SAMS is on duty (unless directed by SAMS)
  • Perform water rescues in depths greater than Vespucci Canals
  • Move or reposition a downed individual without SAMS clearance (unless immediate danger exists)
  • Provide advanced medical care beyond certification/training
