6.1 - Duty Equipment & Weaponry - San Andreas Department of Public Safety

6.1.1 - Minimum On-Duty Equipment

All sworn personnel shall carry the following minimum issued equipment while on duty, unless a valid policy exception or authorized assignment directs otherwise:

6.1.2 - Off-Duty Carry

Off-duty carry of a Glock 17 or Glock 19 is permitted only with department authorization and required documentation. Other listed duty equipment remains restricted to on-duty use unless separately authorized under controlling policy.

6.1.3 - Additional Equipment

Additional equipment may be required or restricted by assignment, certification, or an authorized supervisor’s direction. This page establishes minimum possession requirements only; force, deployment, armory, storage, and vehicle-specific rules remain governed by their applicable policies.
