Specialized assignments and qualifications support advanced operations. Division membership is not the same as holding a certification, and neither automatically authorizes tactics, equipment, or assignments prohibited by controlling policy. Qualifications, operational restrictions, and recertification are governed by the applicable Specialized Operations and Field Training policies. Membership or certification may be restricted or revoked under applicable personnel and accountability procedures.
